The Internet is very useful in our daily life. We can use the Internet to send e-mails to friends and talk with friends online. The Internet is also used for downloading information.

However, some of us only use the Internet to play computer games. Playing computer games can make us relaxed, but playing computer games too much is bad for our studies and heart. The Internet can both help us and hurt us. We should be careful when we enjoy the Internet.
然而，一些人只用互联网玩电脑游戏。电脑游戏可以让我们放松，但是，玩游戏太多的话不利于我们学习与内心。互联网既可以帮助我们，也可以伤害我们。当我们享受网络的时候，应该谨慎小心。
How to make friends
It’s hard to make friends if you stay alone all the time. It’s easier to make friends when you have similar interests.
Don’r be afraid to show people what you are really good at. Talk about the things you like and do best.
Look at people in the eyes when you talk to a good listener. Let people talk about themselves before talking about yourself.
Be friendly to a lot of people. Try to help your friends when they are in trouble because a friend in need is a friend indeed. That way you’ll have a bigger group to choose from and have more chances to make friends.
My Home Town
Welcome to Suzhou. Today I’m your tour guide. Suzhou is a beautiful place in Southeast China. It was built over 2500 years ago. So Suzhou is an old city with a long history. It’s famous for its gardens and Hanshan Temple. We are all proud of them. Many foreign tourists come to see them. In Suzhou, There are lots of old constructions like Tiger Hill, Beisi Pagoda and so on. After visiting them, you’ll be tired. But don’t be worried. There are also lots of snack shops in Suzhou. They are different from those in Western countries. They are much more delicious than some Western food. Suzhou is a modern city as well as an old city. There are lots of tall buildings and many other modern constructions in Suzhou, too. You can find hundreds of people in smart clothes in the street. What a beautiful city it is!

Large Companies and Small Companies
Upon graduation from college， young men and women face the first choice in their career life： to go to a large company or a small one? Although many graduates are attracted by the prestige of large companies， I believe the small one will afford more chances of success and more opportunities to develop your ability.
There are two basic differences between the large and small enterprises. First， working in the small company you operate primarily through personal contacts; you have more chance to develop your communication ability and the ability to handle various kinds of personalities. In contrast， in the large company there are established policies and fairly rigid procedures. Even the man at the top is only a cog in a big machine： you needn‘t make any decision and can’t see the effect of your work…… Second， in a small business you are normally exposed to all kinds of experiences and expected to do a great many things without too much help or guidance. Thus， you may acquire much more skills and experience， and develop the ability to handle different， complicated things. But in the large corporation， since you are normally taught one thing and limited to one procedure， you may become the man who knows more and more about less and less.
Obviously if you want to gain more experience and ability needed in business organizations and to become an excellent manager or executive in your future career， working in a small company is your best choice.
